Join us and celebrate #WorldRhinoDay by taking a moment to find out a little more about these magnificent creatures! Did you know that a Rhino's skin maybe thick but it can be quite sensitive to sunburns and insect bites which is why they like wallow so much – when the mud dries it acts as protection from the sunburns and insects.

Idube has linked with local communities who have put together an enjoyable village tour. Included in the tour is the local school and pre-school, choir and dancers, watching local food being prepared and sampling it before ending up at the little cultural museum. We can also arrange other trips of interest in the area on request. +27 11 792 6165

Take a look at these 2 white territorial bulls having a disagreement over territorial overlaps. They eventually decided to sort it out by showing their levels of strength. No blood spilt and everyone ended off just walking away! #bigfive right here at Idube Game Reserve

Now this was a truly amazing sighting! We sat watching this Baby Ellie throwing a tantrum, by deciding it wouldn't walk any further! Mom eventually had to nudge the baby with her truck, as she realized they were getting left behind. Safety in numbers is key in the African bush.
