Update from the Drive

A cool damp morning today starting with hyena at the lodge entrance, a group of buffalo bulls and a big male giraffe. After leaving the giraffe a dead impala was found in the Mabrak river bed surrounded by leopard tracks. After a short time tracking 2 leopards were located - Hlab'nkunzi and Metsis 3:3 son (the shy one).

Update from the Drive

Lovely sighting of the buffalo herd drinking at Ebony dam. A slightly upset young bull elephant at the river and a sighting of Shangwa female leopard jumping across the Sand river.

Update from the Drive

The drive started with the big buffalo herd not far from the lodge. The Ximunghwe lions were then found up at the river area after some good tracking work.
